My friend had one. He liked it because he had an economy car before that. As a owner of different luxury cars, the XG felt like a "wanna be" luxury car to me. It was coarse and unrefined to me however he liked it. As long as you like it, get it. I wouldn't buy a brand new one though because they don't hold their value as well as other cars in their class. Buy one that is 2-3 years old and most of the depreciation will be gone.
