Read carefully is 21 MPG in city drive....

"In the city, where many SUVs spend the bulk of their time, the 6.0 liter two-mode Hybrid achieves 50 percent better fuel economy than a standard Tahoe with a 5.3-liter V-8. The Tahoe's 21 mpg in the city is the same as the city rating for the four-cylinder Toyota Camry."

Now, people compares apple and oranges on this. A Prius is a puny commuter, is not a Truck. A truck is supposed to perform like a... Truck. Pulling, Towing, Dragging, etc... Is not a Soccer Mom Battle Driver, is not a Grocery Getter, is not a Fashion Statement, is not a Hip-Hopper Ride. Is designed to be useful on Farms, Constructions, Off Roading and many other meaningful things like towing a heavy trailer. Is designed to work and work hard.

A full size truck like that will do a Hwy gas mileage like that and perhaps around 15 MPG on the city as best.

Anybody that have basic knowledge of physic. Is all about energy. Some that big requires more energy and a vehicle like that needs useful energy. With that size with an engine size of a Prius is just plain ridiculous, will be gutless and worthless. So it is a real achievement.

Do that with a Prius!

What went into is the type the vehicle and how it performs like the non-hybrid one. Apparently the performance seems to be very similar.

Do you got it now?
