Default I have a Cadillac Escalade Truck...not SUV?

It's lifted and it feels like the body is just floating around on the frame. I bought it lifted and I don't think the suspension was upgraed at all to support the weight of the lift. The rear end is really loose and it doesn't feel safe. I have called several places to see if they can take it back down to the normal height or reinforce the suspension. And everone is telling me nope we won't touch a lifted Cadillac.

Any suggestions?

well that is just stupid, although a lifted cadd. is rare. that must be why no one wants to work on it. well where have you tried calling and where do you live? also what type of suspesion kit is it? try and find a shop that specializes in lifting...that deals with kits like skyjacker and such. if that doesnt work, consider selling it and just getting a stock one.

Wow i dont know why a lift shop wouldnt want your busness. I used to work at a lift shop and we did Escalade Trucks there not much different from your normal Chevy. The floating could be many things. If anything under the truck is loose, or worn out. To tall of a body lift will do that also. Tall tires also don't help that feeling. I would deff check all the lift items to make sure there tight. If it is drifting get the stearing links, ball joints, and all that good stuff checked. Lift kits can be done wrong and cause allot of damage. You need to find a shop that actually wants to make money to take it back out for you.

Well since its modified you are pretty much stuck with it. People wont touch it because if something goes wrong you could sue them. Your only option may be doing it yourself or a private shop specializing suspension may work on it.

Why did you buy it when it drove like this?
