well my Chevrolet vortec v8 (its in about a 2001 moving van) will not start. it cranks for a bit and then starts to jerk. Seems to me that its firing before the pistons hit the top and slaming them back down. it sounds terrible and hard on the starter.
it has been doing this jerking thing for a while now but it would eventually start. now it wont start and is much worse.
is it possibly a distributer?
i would appreciate any help.
in the past when it would start it would run fine. no troubles it acted fine. it is just the starting issue that has been continually getting worse to now not starting at all
seems to get worse as the temperature drops.
