It has about 39k miles and it will over heat out of no where. The temputure gage will go all the way to the red then it will drop back down to the middle. I have also noticed lately that the car sounds like it's still on when I get out and the car has been turned off. Any thoughts?
Aliitle more inof! It's a 3.9 and the heater isnt working...well it takes a good 10 mins of driving for it to kick in.

Thank you all who responded. We have an extended GM warranty so we will be taking the car in to our local dealership this Friday.
