Default i have 2000 dodge suv and there is no oil in the engine ,is my motor

blown? thats what the dealers told me.? but how can my durango still run.i added oil and the oil pressure gage came back up. there are no noises at all and it seems to run fine.

Did you do the magical JuJu dance first?You lucked out, there must have been just enough to keep lubing the engine. If it runs it sure aint blowed up.

How long did you run it without oil? I guess a better question would be - why did you let the level get so low? You most likely did irreparable damage to the internals.
