I believe the rear differential on my 03 Expedition is looking for some attention.

When I make a turn from a dead stop ( Left or right) I feel a rumbling or slight vibration but at slow speeds. I've heard it's a common problem on these years up. Weird thing is, it doesn't do all the time.

It's said that it's the Clutch Packs in the rear limited slip differential need replacement. Anyone know if this is an easy repair? My dad mentioned changing the gear oil and adding a friction modifier Ford sells might help.

Anyone hear familiar with this issue? I've heard repairs at the dealer reach over $950 & i'm not paying that, I'd rather do any of the dirty work that needs to be done.
