Default Help me identify this rare Ford muscle car.?

Just down the road there is a large ford 2-door muscle car. It's white with burnt orange racing stripes. It has small vents on the side and says "GT" on the back but no other names or model numbers. It's bigger than a mustang, but smaller than a Lincoln. Looks a little like a Charger fastback but it's a FORD. Looks like maybe early to mid 70's I've been racking my brains and looking all over the internet and I can't find a picture of this car anywhere. What is it? What years was it produced. I guess I'll just break down and ask.

i think it's a ford gt, it's the only thing that comes in my mind that would fit your description, this car won the 1966 24 hours le mans, and it's body features havent changed much since the first ford gt came out, the latest ford gt still looks alot like the first model, this has a DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, supercharged V-8, 5.4 liter mid-engine rear wheel drive

Yeah, I think VCC might be right. Sounds like a Torino.
