Hello Kenike1969, It could be one of the wires are loose. Do you still have headlites? A fusible link on the wires going to the starter could have burned up. If no headlites then the pos. cable going to the starter is loose. Have someone wiggle the wires while you try to start it.

Hmmmm..seems like if it started once, the wiring is on right.
Maybe there is something wrong with the battery or the posts are corroded. Make sure there is a strap connecting the engine block to the frame also. If you've removed the eng., recently, maybe you forgot to put it back on.

check all the wires and battery cable that you disconnect for bad connection.if they are okay, you have a defective starter.if you get the starter from pep boys, kmart, sears, kragen, and other cheap made, you will have this problem. i get these problem all the time. stick with the original parts ot high quality part

The wires were exactly wrong. It's a common mistake. Bummer. Hope a garage did it.

Call a tow truck tow it to a garage and tell the people who replaced the starter to get a new one, and this one didn't work.

since you started up the truck more then once it's not your wireing sounds like you blow the starter. return the starter and check to see if you need spacers with it most starters come with spacers that go between the starter and the engine this alines the starter with out them your starter could last the day or a mounth.
