i have a 1989 gmc truck. it will turn over but its not getting fire.?

i pulled a plug and held it against the block////NOTHING NO FIRE BUT IT WILL TURN OVER IT IS GETTING GAS.your help is needed

could be ignition module or plugs itself happened to me on my 91 chevy
