Can anyone help me figure out what happened? I was driving my truck and it just died like it was out of gas..It had gas and I put in more and primed the carburator..it started for 1 second and then died. There was no warning that pump or filter was about to go. It had been running fine. it has 4.3 fuel injection engine. I cannot afford it if it is going to be something high priced to fix it. so I would like to know before I take it to the mechanic..Any help will be appreciated.
There is no noise at all when I turn the key on. I banged on the tank with a rubber mallet, still it only cranks but will not turn over.
