open drivers door tire size should be listed on white panel
mines an 2001
tire size P26575R16

What size tires came on my 1998 GMC Z-71 truck when new?

I bought it with large off-road tires, and am not the original owner.

I'm assuming this is a K1500 Z-71 with six lug wheels, if so your OEM tire is P245/75R-16. If not you can enter your truck info on tires.com and find the correct size.
