I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Civic DX Base Model about 4 months ago, at a price of $17,500, plus $2000 down payment including Tax/Licensing/Plate/Deaer Fees, for a total of $19500.

I have owned it for 4 months now, financed the car for 4.9% APR for 5 years, and I currently owe $16k on the vehicle, at a monthly payment of almost exctly $300 per month, with 4.5 years remaining.

The car is in pristine shape, no accidents, or damages. It has about 7500 highway miles on it, and looks and drives perfectly new.

I obviously love the car, but I think I need a bigger car - an SUV would be great.

Can someone give me advice on what I can do to either (1) Trade my Honda for a comparable SUV? or (2) How I can re-sell it outside of a dealership for best value?

Should I go to a dealership? The same Honda dealership told me that I can trade it in for $13k, which seems ridiculous to me. Help?
