Default Is Honda going to ever consider making the Element into a Hybrid?

It seems like the perfect vehicle to make a Hybrid. I love the usefulness of this vehicle and I average about 24mpg mixed City/Highway.
Wouldn't a hybrid version of this SUV that got around 30 mpg's be ideal?
Can anyone help answer the actual question?

Getting 52mpg's on a Prius is a scam? Not sure I see your point, bad seed.
