Default Why in 1988 did a Honda crx Hf model car get 56 mpg today most hybrids don,t

get that.who,s controlling this? Most cars today get between 20something to 40 something mpg.Why are we going backwards? You would think they would get better than that over time.Why don,t we have and internal combustion engine car getting over 50 mpg Now!!! honda had it in 88 look at the 2008 line up non of them has a non hybrid getting those kind of miles! Whats going on people?
