I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo w/infinity. A few months ago I purchased a new deck and replaced the factory. Recently the deck has been acting like it's shorting out. When I installed the deck I used factory harnesses. This was not my first install. What happens is never consistent with anything. I have tried to figure this out and next to pulling out my hair have no idea. Basically what happens is the deck powers off in the middle of a song(CD) and comes right back on. Almost as if you've turned the deck off and then back on, it does this intermittently at times. There is no consistency with this. I can be sitting still or driving. I called Pioneer and they told me to take it to a local repair place and have them fix it since it was still under warranty. They had it for 2 weeks and about and told me they didn't find much wrong with the device. There were only 2 wires loose and they didn't feel that would cause the problem.
