Default How can I trade my 1985 Jaguar XJ6 and 1996 Dodge Intrepid for a newer vehicle?

How can I trade my 1985 Jaguar XJ6 and 1996 Dodge Intrepid for a newer vehicle?

The Jaguar is a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 Van den plaus Gold in color runs and driveable and is currently in the shop for break and fuel lines. The car needs restoration and a new ignition but runs and is drivable. I also have a list of items that need attention. The vehicle is currently registered and road capable in Wisconsin 120,000 miles. The intrepid is my regular drive blue in color and has about 160,000 miles but runs very well. has cosmetic flaws but everything works.

I really love both vehicles but want to trade them to someone for a newer car better on gas like an older bmw 300 series or mitsubishi or mercury cougar 1999 or newer. any suggestions? Or where to look? both title clear..

Your best bet is sell both, then use the money to purchase another vehicle. However, you might be able to make a private trade that is to your advantage (on line, or via one of the local trading magazines.) Note that commercial traders must make a profit on their transaction & it is unlikely you will get full value for your vehicle when dealing with them. Cash speaks volumes when purchasing a vehicle.

Both cars together wil get you a 500.00 trade in on jag and 800-1000 on intrepid in real money. The best bet is to go to dealer and both quotes are from KBB in poor condition as they are with your description. Both are from Ford. Trade up and use 1500 or whatever they give as down money and get a import that will hold value like Toyota ,Honda, or Nissan.
