Gm is a very good brand. But are ALL gm vehicles good? How about lincoln? I have a dodge stratus and it sucks and i need to know what cars are good and which are bad so i dont make a mistake again. Specialy a lincoln ls, a pontiac firebird and a cavalier

GM is not a brand.
It is a company that owns many car brands like Chevy, Hummer, Pontiac, Saturn, Buick, Oldsmibile, GMC, and more.

The definition of a reliable car is Honda or any other Japanese car.

GM cars reliability is average. Better than Dodge and Lincoln and Ford and Chysler, but worse than all Japanese brands and some German cars.

American cars are lacking in reliability and quality, aside from maybe Buick and some American trucks. They say that Ford is dramatically increasing quality to that of Toyota, but I don't believe it. If I bought American, it would be Buick. Aside from that, I wouldn't go GM.

You are aware that Lincoln is Ford, not GM, right?

Ford is better than GM. Much, much better. So is Lincoln.

GM vehicles tend to be very reliable i have owned several gm trucks and i have never had any trouble with them, they have been great. I also have a dodge stratus and it has been the most reliable vehicle i have ever owned. I wouldn't touch a Ford or any vehicle they make, nothing but trouble.
