if only the rear is down it the air bags or the sensor's for the rear...they do make a conversion for that to get rid of the air ride and go conventional

You should find that relay switch in the underhood circuit box but I am willing to bet the air pump motor is bad which is common they do go bad. The option of converting to convention system is a option but if its just abad motor that's not to expensive and usually you can change them yourself.

Get rid of that POS and get something that gets 20 mpg at least and still has a resale value.
