Default I have a bad car situation. Bought a 99 Saturn SL-1 and it ended up being 3

quarts low in oil.? Put oil in as soon as I hear knocking. Seems to be fine now. Worried about the damage to the engine and what it might cost to have it rebuilt if it fails. Any info on how concerned I should be and rebuilt cost would be helpful. Returning the car is not an option.
