Are Saturn cars good enough to recommend? (Vue)?
i think this SUV Vue is so pretty and affordable.. But I've never seen anyone who recommended saturn cars before, so I am not sure.. if they're not reliable manufacturer I am going to consider other manufacturers. So please be honest =) thanks

Saturn makes a good vehicle but they have had lots of problems especially from engine failure and head gasket problems, they are good cars but don't hold up as well as other makes do,some of them no matter how well you take care of them will have problems, you will get a really good warranty with it though and it will cover most of the things that will go wrong with it,i,ll leave it up to you,if it were me though id choose something different, good luck.

saturn is really nice to women like you. they are really safe cars and i recomend them. i got one for my grandma so yes thier good. also look honda i like honda. hondas are the most reliable cars around (well to me at least). now is the best time to buy try to get a 07. they will give you a killer price and make shure to buy at the end of the month. the dealer needs to make a quota and they will drop the price a good amount. o and any gm car you look at tell them you like toyota they will freak and drop the price. gm is desperate. just some tricks to consider. happy shopping.

I had a Saturn but I traded it in on a Toyota. I liked the car but the Saturn dealer was not good about repairs. I took it in and they said the water pump was bad and they fixed it and they told me to keep an eye on the oil pump. Three miles from the shop the oil pump blew up and I had to get another tow.

I love Saturn!. I'm on my second Saturn, and I would love to get another. They are great on gas, insurance is low because they don't do much damage, and they are quite safe-- with side steal reinforcements. They run forever too! My first Saturn ran for well over 200,000 miles.
They are really customer friendly as well, especially when you buy new.

My friend has bought two Saturns used and her last car was a new Saturn. She loves them! My niece got one and really liked it, but didn't buy another after she wrecked it -- she probably got something for less money. My niece got it right after they came out.
A lot of people don't like Fords, but I had an Astro and have had 3 pick ups. We still have two of the trucks, one is 26 years old and one is 21 years old. I bought a Mercury Tracer with 32,000 miles on it. We put over 100,000 miles on it and I had it parked while I was having dinner before work. I was advised that someone hit my car. The insurance company totaled it and offered me $500 for it if I would pay the storage and I could keep the car. My grandson paid the storage fees, I got the $500 and they put another 100,000 on it. They just sold it this year to a friend who needed a car. That little '89 Tracer now has over 300,000 and running great except the A/C is shot.
I'll NEVER buy another Volkswagen! They're made from LEMON TREES.

When I was car shopping the first thing that I did was called insurance companies to see which manufactured car has the best rates. Saturn was the best. They actually worked with insurance companies to make their cars the safest on the road. My dads pastor was in a really bad accident, in a Saturn, and walked away with a few bumps and bruises. The officer on the scene said that as bad as the accident was he should have been dead.
So.........to answer your question, yes Saturns are great cars and I would recommend you buy one. Especially if it is a model that you like. If they care enough to make them safe, they care enough to build them well.
Enjoy your new car.

I'm going to be very honest.
I would never drive a Saturn, just because i'm a freak.
BUT
I spend all my time studying and researching cars
Buy the Saturn Vue if you get a 2005 or newer.
The previous years were bad years for the Vue but from 2005 and on, they were actually very reliable and safe cars.
You will get pretty good gas mileage, great cargo and passenger room, and reliability. Handling and safety aren't number 1, but they are up to standard
If you feel like you have the extra money, go for another manufacturer just because of the value it will hold and the integrity of the car
But in my opinion, the newer Saturn Vues are GREAT cars

The 6 cylinder engine in the Vue is a Honda motor which is about as good as it gets. Im not sure about the 4 cylinder though. I would buy a Saturn.
