The car is run by diesel, the mpg is great almost same as toyota hybird. For city: 42 mpg, for highway: 49 mpg. Some of my friends told me that Volkswagen or Audi are very expensive to fix. Any comments about Volkswagen Goft???

I read up on it, and they are not as dependable as some other cars - but they have other good points, there nice inside, lots of room, handle well, safe, ... with diesel yes they are expensive to fix, but generally the diesel engine does not need too many repairs, they are really made well... it is the other things [smaller things}

I found the information on the Internet quite easily, you can read up on this, and one of them more common problems, you can replace the part yourself, and you can buy it a lot less if it is not made by Volkswagen, some ceramic insulator in the electrical system blows out a lot... but u can replace it yourself when it does, ... that is another thing about Volkswagen, you can fix it yourself a lot of the time, they made them easy to fix.

as for me i have a 03 jetta gls 1.8t, the only problems i had are electrical that if you take to the dealership they should cover the repairs because of warranty issues. i have moded my whole engine and drove it for almost a year and i havent had any engine problems
