I would go to www.edmunds.com or www.nada.org get the local prices and pursue a dealer having this information. If you are serious about it then I would suggest getting edmunds premiums service and follow their guide. It's worth it.
Note on the side: Get a Honda; and don't buy any hybrid - the technology is still new and the relative costs of installing batteries in the coming years will make your investment in a Hybrid not worth it.
