Default Private Parking Space - Car Removal?

We have recently sold our house and have moved on. The solicitor of the buyer has held back £500 as there is a neighbours car parked in our space (Which we own & is on the deeds) This vehicle is on bricks and has been there for about 18 months without us minding, we have now asked that they remove it as we have moved and this is costing us money.

We have asked them to move it but they haven't. What rights do we have to move this car? This is also a pricate road so the council probably won't be able to help. I'm also annoyed that this is going to cost us money and we have already let them park here for ages and it is our space!!!

Let the owners of the car know that they have a certain number of days to get the junk car out of there or you will have it removed. You will bear the brunt of the cost, but I'm sure it will be less than what is being held right now.
