Default what can you do when you buy a new car and it has too many problems?

Lemon laws vary from state to state, but most say that if your car has a specific safety-related problem and the dealer can't fix it, then they have to buy the car back from you. There are several things you have to do to get this done, so it's best to check locally for the rules where you live.
