Default car audio fuse & wire melts. why?

my old fuse next to the battery was completely melted. i replaced it with a new fuse and it sparked a little and all my wires started turning like into liquid almost from the front of the car to my amp in the trunk and the fuse started melting again. whats happining and how do i fix this problem?

you have a short in it somewhere. it probably needs to be completely rewired.... or at least checked over

recheck all your wiring to make sure you have no wires reversed throughout the system, just start over from scratch to make sure
