Default I clean snow of an elderly ladys car in the winter and shovel around i.

i think i broke the car? We had a huge snowstorm so it too me awhile to shovel around it and then i had to move the car so the plow could come in and do the whole big yard. the car was stuck so i got a push from some guy and while spinning teh tires a bit to get out i heard a pop from the muffler i thin then it smelled bad and now the car sounds like a derby car? what do i do? i feel really bad and i dont now if i should offer to pay for it or what or maybe it was ready to break. im not sure. i told her te car was loud and i wasnt sure why. i just feel real bad. I dont even have any money.

You should win a "good samaritan" award for helping that old lady out like you did. I don't think you have to take all the blame on yourself. Just mention to her that you think her muffler may have been rusted out, because something broke off when getting the push out of the snow. Tell her she probably needs to get a new muffler. After all, it sounds like you don't charge her for the work you do so she certainly should understand.

Not a big deal. It would have happened to her if she was driving it anyway. It's a cheap fix, and really isn't hurting the car anyway. Give her the heads up and maybe ask around for her a name of a good local muffler shop.
