Default Why won't my car start after washing it on a day when it was only -15 celsius?

I washed my car around 4pm today, drove it home and had it in the garage for about 3hrs. Around 7pm, I went to a friend's house and when I left around midnight it wouldn't start. All of my lights and electrical came on but the engine wouldn't start. It wasn't that cold today so I don't know if washing it really did anything to not make it start. I tried boosting it but that didn't do anything. Any advice?
