98 Buick Skylark Knocking Sound?

My girlfriend ran it VERY low on oil. The car stalled out, but did not seize. I changed the oil and filter. I put some piston seal stuff in, but it is still knocking. We don't have alot of extra cash right now to take it to a mechanic. ANY IDEAS??
